Cylindrical roller bearing is a combination of 2 machined and polished grooved raceways (inner&outer rings), guiding a number of appropriate cylindrical rollers as the rolling elements, with a cage or full complement.  Cylindrical roller bearings are line contact bearings, and its internal structure’s rollers arranged in parallel, installation and removal are very convenient. A spacer or isolation block is installed between the rollers, which can prevent the slope of the rollers or the friction between the rollers, and can prevent the increase of rotation torque effectively.

 

Cylindrical roller bearings are designed of this new structure and the end of the roller applied to withstand heavy loads and shock loads at high-speed rotating. It mainly bears radial load, according to the ring penal structure, which also can bear a certain amount of one-way or two-way axial load. Cylindrical roller bearings with cage have high radial load carrying capacity, operating at high speed. Full complement cylindrical roller bearings can accommodate even higher radial loads, but at low and moderate speed.

 

Cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into P0, P6, P5, P4, P2 according to the accuracy grade from low to high. According to the number of roller rows, it can be divided into single row, double row and four row cylindrical roller bearings. And single row cylindrical roller bearings with cages are widely used.

  1. single row cylindrical roller bearing, according to difference of ring guard divided into: N, NU, NJ, NF, NUP,  
  2. double row cylindrical roller bearings, are compact structure, strong rigidity, large carrying capacity, small deformation: NN type and NNU,
  3. Four row cylindrical roller bearings, can bear large radial loads: FC、FCD、FCDP.

 

Cylindrical roller bearings are widely used in high-speed machinery, which are mainly large and medium-sized electric motors, locomotives, machine tool spindles, internal combustion engine, generators, gas turbines, reducer box, rolling mill, vibrating screen, hoisting and transportation machinery and various industrial machinery.
